If you watched my latest beauty video you'll know that Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs has been a go-to of mine this summer. This instant leg makeup is water resistant, easy to apply and gives skin a perfected, flattering finish with a very believable looking faux-glow. (Missed it? Catch up here - and don't forget to subscribe!)
Suitable for use all over - not just on legs - the formula covers a multitude, from bruises to freckles, uneven skintone and stretch marks, in a matter of minutes. Apart from the odd spray tan I'm not a big self-tanner but this has me converted.
A recent pro session at Bespoke Beauty certainly helped and I picked up a few tips that I've been putting to use at home. Prep your skin by exfoliating - but skip the body lotion, for an even, streak-free finish. Take your time buffing it in with a mitt, and leave a few minutes to dry - once it's set, it won't transfer to your clothes, and you can just wash it off once you're done.
You can also use it to sculpt your limbs and distract from those wobbly bits we all feel self conscious about. Contour by using a darker shade under the arms, or the sides of your legs, with a lighter shade everywhere else. Bam! You're Gwyneth Paltrow (just way, WAY less smug).
Available in a spray can, €13.95, or lotion, €16.95, both come in four shades to suit every skin tone – I use a combo of medium and tan, as the last step in my routine for silky, summer-ready legs.
Sally Hansen products are available to buy in grocery stores and chemists nationwide - but how do you fancy trying them out for free?
I have FIVE sets of Airbrush Legs PLUS one of the excellent Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes to give away, to readers living in Ireland or Northern Ireland. You know the drill - just follow the steps below to be in to win!
