In the 90s I loved nothing more than a good ol' concealer-nude lip - usually outlined with a much darker shade of liner. Lookit, we were all at it, ok?! In recent years I've gravitated more towards brighter lip colours and have actually struggled to find a nude that flatters my skintone.
Enter L'Oréal Paris with a solution for this all too common problem - the Collection Privée Les Nudes launched towards the end of last year, with a promise to help every woman find their perfect nude.
The six strong shade range was designed with L'Oreal's spokesmodels - from Freida Pinto to Julianne Moore, Chery Cole, Liya Kebede, Eva Longoria and Doutzen Kroes - who all have different colourings, ethnicities and skintones.
Ranging from peach to mauve to rosy pink and packaged up in a matte black, gold- accented rubberised case, these lippies are creamy, comfortable to wear and feel way more luxe than their €11.99 pricetag.
This is a lovely, elegant launch; I've been enjoying these two in particular to offset this season's smokey eyes and would encourage you to check 'em out, whether you're a nude newbie or a longtime fan.
Have you tried 'em, or are you tempted?
