The lippie, called Biscotti, doesn’t apply at all how it looks in the tube. It’s one of Isadora’s award winning gloss lipsticks, Jelly Kiss, which deliver a sheer wash of translucent colour and shine. The formula is enriched with peach and apricot kernel oil and almond oil, to keep lips moisturised and soft. On the lips, this is a pretty, sheer nude that lights up the face – no heavy ‘concealer lips’ here, thanking you! It’s €12.95.
As for the polish, Macchiato is a chic and pretty deep taupe, with a subtle shimmer. It leans almost mauve in certain lights, and looks more grey in others. It’s a very elegant colour and perfectly office appropriate. The formula is quite thick – it reminded me of the Clinique polish I showed you here – and only needs one coat.
These Wonder Nail Polishes are €7.95 and contain a special water repellent film, to prolong the wear time of the product – I’m on day 3 now and counting, and it looks just like it did in the photo below.
Despite initial reservations, I've fallen for them both – are you a fan?
