Shiseido Make Up Collection Autumn 2013: First Look!

Shiseido Makeup Autumn 2013

As a brand, Shiseido is all about letting natural beauty shine through.  For autumn, they have focused on fresh skin, soft eyes and groomed brows, teamed with full coverage, high impact lips.

And there’s a whole host of gorgeous beauty bits launching on August 26th, to help us achieve the look.  Let’s have a wee peek, shall we?

Shiseido Sheer and Perfect Foundation

I think I’m most excited about the new Sheer & Perfect Foundation, with SPF 18 (€35). Available in eight shades, this base has a host of skincare benefits and promises to cancel out what the  brand is calling ‘colour noise’ (basically, any discolouration in the skin),  while providing natural looking, even coverage.  I have very high hopes!

Onto the lips, and feeding my borderline obsession with lipstick is news of 10 new shades of Perfect Rouge.

These swatch rich and creamy, and the colour payoff looks very promising indeed. Day Lily, a bright orangey red, and the bright pink Tulip, would be my top picks – these are €25.

If lacquered lips are more your thing, there are six new liquid lippies, Lacquered Rouge (€26), also launching on the 26th. Again, the brights caught my eye and these look deliciously saturated and glossy.

For eyes, there are three Eyebrow Styling Compacts (€30) in deep, medium or light brown – what I like about these, as with most Asian beauty brands, is that the shades are cool toned (with more grey than red), which looks much more natural.

Three new Luminising Satin Eye Trios (€41) are also launching in Nude, Lido (blues) or Into The Woods (copper, gold and pink).

I have a few bits and bobs to try out and will report back soon, but for now, tell me, is anything catching your eye?
