Spring Nail Polish Trends 2014: Gorgeous Greens, from Rimmel, Boots, L'Oreal

SS14 Beauty Trends Green Nailpolish
Resting on some Irish literature - and that's an Irish candle, too!

The 'wearing of the green' is pretty much compulsory here for St Patrick's Day and,  this year, I opted for a touch of emerald in my accessories and a flash of mint and jade across my nails.

Green nail polish is such big news for spring and I couldn't choose between this gorgeous trio - so I ended up sporting all three shades on my fingertips! All coming in at under the ten euro mark, I think these polishes are pretty special, and unique enough to each deserve a place in your new season stash.

Green nails trend for SS14

Rita Ora's 60 Seconds polish in Breakfast In Bed is my second favourite colour from her Rimmel line (check out my first love here). It's minty fresh with a fine silver shimmer which, while you can't see it on the nail, stops the colour from looking flat. This polish line is fast-drying and fabulous and, at in and around a fiver, they're excellent value too.

Meanwhile Boots No 7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in Spring Meadow, €8, is a delicate jade with a pretty, glossy finish. Two coats with the nice, wide brush is enough for a smooth and fuss-free mani and with 10ml in the bottle, this will definitely see me through a good few springtimes to come! This one is limited edition so if you like it, don't miss out.

L'Oreal Color Riche Pistachio Drague is a great ice-cream colour that's part of the brand's latest collection, Les Blancs. Inspired by sweet treats like sugared almonds and macarons, these four white based pastels are incredibly striking. Find them in chemists, including Boots, where they're priced at €7.69.

Do you have a favourite of the three?

I'm wearing these polishes in my latest beauty video if you'd care to check it out!
