Chanel lipsticks are amongst my very favourite things: the luxe finishes, sublime shades and those signature, sleek black bullets equate to my idea of makeup heaven.
Trust Chanel, then, to come out with the most perfect lipstick launch in living memory. There’s an offering for every whim and every woman, a lipstick wardrobe if you will (and oh, I will) providing the perfect pout for every mood and all occasions.
Whether your preference is for rich, opaque pigment or a lighter, glossy sheen, you’ll find it in this 28-piece collection. There are three colour families: natural (which encompasses nudes, peaches and corals), pink-red and violet-plum; in each, you’ll find a selection of shades and finishes from glossy (Rouge Coco Shine, €30.50) and satin (Rouge Coco, €30.50; Rouge Allure €31.50) to matte (Rouge Allure Velvet €31.50).
But that’s not all! There are liquid lipsticks, too (Rouge Double Intensite), and gloss (Levres Scintillantes, €26) along with one solitary, perfect polish designed to complement them all: Le Vernis 609 in Coup De Coeur, €22.50, described as a deep and luminous plum.
