Products That Didn't Work For Me

I don't know if you've noticed, but I get through a lot of beauty products. I’m very lucky to be sent bits and pieces to trial by brands and I also direct a fair whack of my monthly paycheque towards buying and trying new products.

Mostly I write about the hits because those are the most exciting, and if I’ve found something wonderful I want to tell you all about it. But that doesn’t mean I don’t encounter my fair share of misses along the way and hey, it’s only fair to tell you all about them, too. I’d say 90% of the time a product delivers but this video focuses on a few I’ve recently encountered that, on me, just didn’t cut the mustard.

Of course it’s true that just because they didn’t work for me, doesn’t mean they won’t work perfectly on you – and if I’ve mentioned any of your favourites, please don’t hunt me down and kill me. Or even send a few dirty looks my way, I’m feeling fragile today.

Other notable disappointments include the Revlon Baby Sticks (way too sheer) and Laura Mercier's oil free tinted moisturiser (overpriced and underwhelming) but I got rid of both long before this was filmed.

Do let me know your thoughts, and share your recent disappointments in the comments!
