Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick Review and Swatches

Alongside my favourite lipsticks from Chanel, Tom Ford and YSL are some much more affordable, but equally well-loved, bullets from everyone's favourite highstreet beauty brand, Rimmel (such as these lovelies here and here).

So tales of the new and improved Moisture Renew range got me hot under the collar, and I've been putting a selection of these lipsticks through their paces over recent weeks.

If you like the moisture hit you get from a balm-like lippie, but want your colour to pack more of a punch, you should definitely investigate the range.

The formula and finish are similar to Lancome's Rouge In Love line: thinner in consistency than your average lipstick, they feel lightweight and have plenty of slip, while delivering an impressive amount of glossy pigment in just one swipe.

The vitamin-rich formula keeps lips feeling comfortable and hydrated, and it lasts well, too - I get about three hours wear-time which is pretty great for such a moisturising product.

Perfect for experimenting with colour without breaking the bank, the 13-strong range has the lot: brights, bolds, nudes, seasonal plums and a cheery selection of reds. I'm showing you my three favourites here but there are plenty more I'd happily pay lipservice to, including Diva Red and the hot pink, As You Want Victoria.

The Moisture Renew range is out now, priced at €7.99 a bullet - will you be checking them out?
