Did you know that nail polish can be a serious skin irritant? If you suffer from sensitive skin or eyes, or prefer to steer clear of chemical laden products, then this should be of interest. Clinique are set to launch a new polish line at the end of April which will address those specific concerns.
L-R: Concrete, Summer In The City, Hula Skirt, Juiced Up |
There will be 12 shades in the permanent line - four neutrals, three dark shades and five bright reds and pinks - and these will be added to with seasonal limited editions. For spring, these include a lovely tangerine, pictured, called Juiced Up, and this gorgeous green, Hula Skirt. I've been lucky enough to get my hands on a couple early, for swatching and reviewing purposes.
And I have to say - I like 'em! The formula is quite thick and with Hula Skirt, I found that one coat was enough for an even, streak free and fully opaque finish. The flat, thin brush is easy to work with, and the polish dries quickly with a nice shine.
A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skin will be priced at €16 - which I think is decent, given that the formula is allergen free - and available online from the end of April. It's on counter from 31st May. Do you fancy checking them out?
