Umbrella Beauty: Crazy Colour in Burgundy

Crazy Colour in Burgundy

One of the great things about having your hair marbled, according to my fabulous hairdresser Niamh, is playing about with colour. And now I've put that to the test, I really must concur. New online Irish site Umbrella Beauty stock a range of fabulous hair products, and they recently sent me a bottle of Crazy Colour to try out.

I've heard lots of great things about this range of semi-permanent colours - Rach from Dolly Rouge looked amazing when she put the pink and violet shades through her blonde hair. My results were a bit less dramatic but I'm thrilled with the effect -I chose the shade burgundy but only used a little through my lightened ends, for an almost pastel-ised, candied effect. The colour should last for up to 10 washes.

Crazy Colour is €7.99 and Umbrella Beauty currently stock seven fabulous shades. If you fancy experimenting with colour or just want to invest in some new hair products or tools, make sure you check out the site - the people behind this family business have been in the hairdressing business for more than 40 years, and have salons and hairdressing supply stores in Waterford, Clonmel and Limerick City. The service was great, and my product arrived the next day - if you live in Ireland, all orders include free next day courier delivery.

Do you like to experiment with your hair colour? What's been your craziest colour yet?
